A small update

Well, as my personally set deadline for finishing Drifter has come and gone, ( shocker, right?) I do have an update on it. It is undergoing a new ‘structuring’. I only have about 20K left to do and without this restructuring, providing I had a fridge full of Bing’s and a closet of Cheez-its, I could have it done in a week. The restructuring will take a little longer but I do believe it will be worth it. Think of a puzzle of pictures being laid out piece by piece and at the end you have a mural. You can blame Lisa for the idea. It was all hers. I was doing things chronologically and she called me and proposed we switch it up a little. She was giddy excited and when I could picture what she was talking about, I was too. I started working on it that night. This new structure lends more room for us to see what Aryl is thinking and doing as he heads back to Rockport while all his family and friends still believe he is dead. It allows him to tell the story more than the previous format. I love it and trust me, I will finish it as soon as possible.

As far as future work, I have exciting new ideas. Seven ready to go summaries for novels outside the series. However, I don’t think I will use MLG for future books in other genres and time settings. That is reserved for the 29 series and characters. It’s special. Stay tuned for updates on which names I will use for future books. They are pretty special, too. 😉
